Steppingstones Partnership Inc. was established in 1989 as a management consulting, training, research and technology services company. Located in Edmonton, Alberta Canada, we provide a wide range of consulting services to government, public sector organizations, private companies and entrepreneurs, and non-profit associations and agencies.

Since 1998, Steppingstones has been working with Alberta Health & Wellness (Canada) to develop Continuing Competence Programs for the regulated health professions. We have helped prepare comprehensive Competency Profiles for over 15 different professions. We have also assisted health professions Colleges to create assessment tools, learning plans / records, online quizzes, e-Learning courses and software to manage their competency / professional development / continuing education programs.

Steppingstones has helped to develop detailed Competency Profiles for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland / Labrardor. In addition, we developed a competency management software system (see CompeTrax.com) that is currently being used by five health professions.
