The Learning Nurse Resource Network is all about informal nurse learning, continuing education and professional development. This Learning Nurse website provides an independent, free and safe resource for ALL levels of nurses to assess, maintain and enhance their professional competence. The learning resources herein are suitable for nursing students, nursing assistants/aides, licensed practical nurses (LPN), registered nurses (RN), and registered psychiatric nurses (RPN), as well as nurse educators, trainers and instructors.

Our learning resources are in two major areas. The first is our Test and Quiz Center that assists nurses to identify areas where they may need to refresh or update their nursing knowledge, skills and competencies. Our 136 online nursing quizzes with 9,120 questions are a fun and interactive way for nurses to review and learn!

The second component is our e-Learning Center. Here we provide access to a variety of online courses and e-learning modules for nurses. These provide the nursing practitioner with convenient and cost-effective resources for online learning to achieve her professional development objectives.

We also provide other nursing learning resources. We have nurse competency self-assessment forms, personality diagnostic tools, and links to medical videos, podcasts and health / medical websites.

NEW: We have added 5 new nursing quizzes to our Test and Quiz Center. Our newest quizzes are about drug category applications, antibacterial drugs, antiviral medications, antifungal drugs, and phobias. We have also updated and greatly expanded our Medication Abbreviations Quiz including identifying those abbreviations that have now been discontinued.
